Geoffrey Bawa Works in Sri Lanka
Journey through the masterworks of Asia's greatest architect — gardens that changed the world
关于本次一日游
Geoffrey Bawa (1919–2003) is the father of tropical modernism — the architect who single-handedly invented a new architectural language by blending traditional Sri Lankan vernacular with modernist geometry. His influence reaches from Bali to Singapore to Dubai. This day tour visits his two greatest landscape works: Lunuganga, the estate garden he spent 50 years perfecting on the Dedduwa Lake, and Brief Garden, the extraordinary wild garden of his brother Bevis. A pilgrimage for anyone who loves architecture, landscape, or beauty.
