Sigiriya & Dambulla Day Tour
Two of the ancient world's most extraordinary monuments โ a sky-palace on a rock and a golden cave full of Buddhas
About This Tour
Sri Lanka's two most visited UNESCO World Heritage Sites on one spectacular day. Sigiriya is a 5th-century rock palace-fortress built on a 200-metre granite monolith โ the climb takes you past world-famous frescoes, a mirror wall inscribed by visitors since the 8th century, and the lion gateway before the breathtaking summit. Dambulla, just 18km away, is a cave temple complex of 157 Buddha statues and 2,000-year-old frescoes covering every inch of the cave walls.
